why choose us

Primarily, we will be the only house that focuses on the needs of Veterans, in the high desert. There are shelters that will accept veterans here although their curriculum is geared for, public civilian usage. We will focus on you the Veteran! Our home will treat you as the elite hero that has earned, a host of benefits and gratuities for their time served in the Military.

Most importantly monies earned will go towards the home and the veteran. I want this home.to be a model for others, and hopefully more in the future. Lastly, we have no inhibitions about exclusively wanting to help veterans. A program with all the prescriptions to help heal a veteran, is what the Doctor called for!

About Us

I’m guessing that you’re asking yourself, why the last house? This name originated from basically saying, it’s your last chance. My intentions are quite the opposite! This home will be intended as, you’ll never need another, if you follow the curriculum. My staff and I will do this job from the heart, not from a since of duty. All we ask is that you give your best, stay ready for change, remain vigilant and focused, and mostly stay on the WRIGHTtrack, our guidance has been proven to be successful…

For those that are just visiting please hear our cry for help! This task has been fully funded by me. I’m not looking for sympathy just a little help, this project has been in my thoughts for many years! The donation button sends your gift directly to the Organizations account. So please go to the home page and give. Because we are still in the building stage without any steady finances, any amount is well appreciated. We are a NonProfit Organization, so all contributions are tax deductible.

Our Mission

At the Last House on The Block, our mission is to empower every veteran who seeks our services to emerge as a stronger and more independent individual. We are committed to guiding veterans through the challenges of life, including homelessness, unemployment, skill deficiencies, low selfesteem, and diminished confidence. Our approach centers on fortifying inherent strengths rather than merely addressing weaknesses. By nurturing belief in oneself, enhancing life skills, promoting self- care, and fostering conflict resolution abilities, we aim to transform veterans into more selfreliant individuals, better parents, active community members, and supportive partners

We embrace a strengthsbased approach in our case management, aligning with the evolving concepts of developmental resilience, healing, and wellness. This perspective not only supports, but also amplifies the inherent capabilities of our clients.

The Last House Veterans Transitional Shelter

Good leaders set vision, missions, and goals. Great leaders inspire every follower at every level to internalize their purpose, and to understand that their purpose goes far beyond the mere details of their job. When everyone is united in purpose, a positive purpose that serves not only the organization but also, hopefully, the world beyond it, you have a winning team.
